Patient Online Services

Earsdon Park Oxford Centre

Please be aware that our practice in the oxford centre is a branch surgery and will be limited on appointments.

GP Appointments

If you need to discuss more than one problem with the GP, please book a double appointment.

Shared Decision Making

Please note we cannot issue urgent prescriptions unless it is asthmatic or diabetic medication.


Repeat Prescriptions

orange_pillsTo order a repeat prescription you can call the surgery or ask for a logon and password and do it on line. If you are ringing, please call between 10am-2pm or 2pm-4pm. You must call 48 hours before you need to collect.  It is important to only say the names of the medication you need and not just ask for a repeat of all your medication. 

Prescriptions will be ready to collect 2 working days after requested.  Someone else can collect for you if they are over 16.  Prescriptions can also be posted out if you provide us with a stamped addressed envelope, or you can ask your local pharmacy to arrange collection for you.

Alternatively you can fax your request on 0191 251 8936, or complete the tear off slip from your last prescription and hand it in.

Please note that we are no longer able to issue same day prescriptions unless it is for asthmatic or diabetic medication.


Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor or our practise pharmacist at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
