Patients are responsible for contacting the surgery to find out the results of investigations such as blood tests, urine tests, x-rays and ECGs.  Receptionists cannot discuss your results, but they can either arrange an appointment for you to speak to a doctor or nurse or tell you if a doctor or nurse has seen your results and pass on any messages from the doctor.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
